SCCA Drivers School - Carolina Motorsports Park
To anyone that is interested and has the proper prerequisites:
January 15th, 16th & 17th: Drivers School - Carolina Motorsports Park
If I understood correctly, its a double (the days sorta gave that away too) school and will not replace the Savannah Double School but will simply run a month before it.

cool. are there sign-in dates yet for either double school (CMP and RR)? i don't think the car will be ready for CMP, but you never know.
How the roebling school works is you call the number provided on the website (if its there, might not be yet) and they send you a big fat package with all your paperwork in it, including the entry form.
I don't know if the CMP school will work the same way since thats a different region.
I can only assume the CMP thing is happening because they got the track for damned near nothing in January. I can't imagine that there's an actual *need* for 2 double schools, 4 hours apart, within a month of each other. The Roebling school is usally full, but not overflowing full.
At any rate, its a good thing to have. You can do the CMP school and if something goes wrong with the car you have another opportunity a few weeks later.

I like that they are doing the school - it (to me) is better that there is more time between this and the first races of the year (VIR/RA) and it gives folks a little bit more down time (plus as Scott says, if you have an issue here, you can still go to RRR instead of waiting until the spring at Daytona). Plus its a nice way to get folks to Kershaw that wouldn't ordinarily go there maybe. CCR guy here so I am glad we are doing this school - hopefully some of the folks here will come down and check it out.
