how do i tell what year my block is?
I have an F22B short block that i am thinking of selling...how can i tell what year it is? and how much do you think i should try to sell it for?

I think the first digit of the block serial # is the year, from when the engine was first available. I don't know the first year the F22B was available...
For example my '98 F23A1 block # starts with 1 since that's the first year F23A1 was available.
