I thought it might be appropriate to start a thread to get an idea of where "out of towners" are staying.

It sounds like most of us have yet to book a hotel, so I figure if we can agree on a location then we can most likely get some type of group discount for a Hotel.

I was leaning towards staying in Riverside or San Bernardino, due to the fact that Fontana sounds like it has a less then desirable nightlife.

If you are flying or driving in....and would like to stay in Riverside or San Bernardino (open to suggestions)....please let it be known in this here thread.

Please also include the dates you will be checking in and checking out of the hotel...

Haha...we did a switch. I used to live in Irvine, now I'm up here! Never quite figured why they used to tell me I lived behind the orange curtain!

 

so anybody know of cheap hotels around an ideal(distance, price, etc.) area. any zip codes or whatever i can use to search for hotels in the area.

even thouhg I'm only in "THEOC" me and my group that are going might get a hotel its just that the 909 sucks and i dont wanna stay there i dont wanna drive out there either

Its further away, but a nice location and nice rooms. So if you can't find something close, this is nice. I was there over labor day weekend when I saw the Linkin Park / Korn concert one night and then went to the NASCAR race the next day.

stay with us, the point of this thread is to get everyone together. i priced 3 nights for me with 2 beds(my buddy or i would sneak in, hehe) for 151.00, they already drop 10 dollars off for the 3rd night! if we were able to rent a whole section for atleast 3 nights i bet it would be very cheap for each person. ill call the one rick(big props) posted if we can get aleast 25 people.
Roger(marauder) that is nice but its the same hotel company as the other one Rick posted. same furnishing and all. how far is it from the speedway, its close to irwindale, but the jgtc is at california speedway. location quality isnt really an issue with me, as we will hopefully be with tons of people and will probably be out or up all night.
any other input?

I need to talk to Spade and see if he wants to split a room for Sat. He lives in La Habra, which is probably only a 30 min drive from CA Speedway.

The hotel I listed is also about 20 min drive from the speedway.

This might be a good one since it is "midway" between LA and the track.

I talked to a buddy of mine who knows the clubs in the LA area and he said "no doubt...Hollywood." He also mentioned Hunnington Beach as having some decent clubs....

 

Huntington is ok gourgeous girls but hollywood has all the freaks
