ls block with 0.40 over itr pistons
want to know if i would bore out my 93 ls block to a 0.40 over to put in those pistons is that a good choice for a ls vtec and what else would i need to get this thing running good!!!!!

i had to bore my ls block to 82 mm and it's running pr3's. everything seems fine as of now. as far as power is concerned, the itr's are a safe choice and if you want a small step up, then you can go with the pr3's.
I'm pretty sure that honda offers them I know there are some .50 over ITR and CTR pistons. So I would only guess that honda is making them.............

incorrect. these pistons are made by topline. oem quality/fitment, etc at a reduced cost. you can get a set from camp1320.com. you can tell tom i sent ya.

Well that is good to know. I was just taking a guess when I said that I thought honda made them, thanks for the info.....................

i originally ordered a set of 81.5 mm from camp1320 but the machine shop messed up and overbored one cylinder and had to order me a set of 82 mm topline pistons.
just a word of advice though. 82 mm is the max you should go without sleeving.
