I need help with the swap i have jsut completed. I just put the 1990 ls motor into my 1989 civic hatchback DX converted to multipoint injection. After installing everything i am getting to codes. One code is the air idle control sensor and the air temp control sensor. These codes are 10 and 14. I have swiched out both of the sensors but still getting a weird idle. I notice that the idle begins to increase then decrease and suggestions on how to solve this problem.

 

fix the codes, because if they are still coming up the problem is not solved, recheck the wiring to make sure they go to the right pins in the ecu. If your idle is wondering it is still a idle air control valve problem

 

sounds like the throttle position censor is bad
