Default Help please

sup fellas im about to install a pillar mounted gauge pod on my 98 civic...question is how do i take the pillar cover off??? some peeps told me to just pull it straight down, when i tried that it was hard as hell and wuss'd out thought i might break it...does anyone have some step by step instructions on takin the pillar cover off??? anyinfo would be much appreciated

1.open ur door
2.pull the rubber peice that goes along the pillar not all the way just off the piller
3. pull the pillar from the rear of there are clips holding it on pull the rear out of the rear roof plastic thing
4.pull the pillar to the pass side so the clips detatch from the car
5 it should come off from there then u get to install the gauges on the car
this is for an ef car not a eg if its diff try the eg forum
