Default 7th Gen. Accord Audio

i did a search earlier today on this, but i couldn't find anything about it. i heard that on the 7th gen accords, you can put aftermarket decks at the bottom of your center console (in place of the cd holder). is this true? does anyone know any more information about this?

yes, it's true. there's a kit available with everything needed to install it, which i believe also includes the wire harness. the factory deck will still have power, but just no sound.

there is another alternative for those who do not have automatic climate control. metra has a kit that removes your factory deck and a/c controls, provides a space to install an aftermarket deck, and comes with new a/c controls. however, in my opinion, it looks like crap.

Yeah you can either have the deck in the compartment below or have it in the center with everything else gone, looks really plain and ugly. Try looking through cardomain, there's lots of pictures of people's cars there. I'm just leaving it stock .
