Yes Chris was driving the car and does not condone street racing in any way, shape, or form. (For the record, this was at 8:30 AM on a Sunday )

Okay, I laugh at the "Film it bitch" too...but I didn't ever reply "okay"...my only response was to his original statement about it being worth the ticket.

 

what does he have on the ITR?

 

In the clip he has: intake through passenger highbeam, Comptech foam filter, JDM Honda 4-1, and Advan A032Rs. Everything else was stock.

 

hehe was the guy in the ferrari actaully gunning it from the beginning, it dident sound like it.

 

Yes, he was gunning it from the beginning...didn't you hear him revving the engine?! He might have babied the launch a little to save his tires, but that is his own fault.

I really don't think it would take too much to get an ITR or hatch on par with a Ferrari in straight-line acceleration...the 550 Maranello with 480bhp or so runs high 13's in road tests. I am a Ferrarista until I die but that's just not that impressive.

 

once that ferrari got into 2nd gear...it was all over...blew that ITR away. lol.

I bet that particular ferrari runs mid 13's.

I remember Chris said that he launched the ITR in 2nd gear? Can someone confirm? I would like to know more, because it's a pretty grippy quick launch.

 

Huh???? Nope I launched in first, and about 3K. I think someone once said that they thought that the ferarri started in second...

 

He totally hit the rev limiter in 3rd.

Either way, that was SWEET...street racing or not.
