from the body shop. This is Wes' old car (White Dragon) - 1998 #142 King MotorsportS Mugen ITR. Anyway on the way home from picking it up (back in November) I hit a deer in the middle of Iowa. Pretty minor damage considering. I was doing about 75 when the thing just ran out in the middle of the interstate.

They replaced the fender, hood, and bumper cover and blended the paint into the door and other fender. So here are some crappy pics. I'm going to take some decent ones tomorrow. The paint does match - it may look a little goofy because of the lighting in my garage and the flash from the camera.

Yes that wing has been the topic of much debate since I brought the car home and my friends saw it.

I'll say two things about it.

1)Its functional (adjustable too!)
2)It looks 10 times better in person

Besides its Mugen.

 

I like the wing alot, i always have. i just dont have the like 800 bucks it costs. I will stick with my stock gsr wing.

It's not a cool wing cause it's JDM, it's a cool wing cause it looks awesome and it's adjustable without being one of those big DTM-style wings. I love it.

So how did the body work come out? Can you tell, or does it look like it never happened?

Ahhh and the wing still continues to be the focal point...


They did a nice job on the body work. The paint is good. I have to mess with the hood alignment a little bit.

The Mugen Wing seems to distrupt the Lines of the Car putting a boxy wing on a curvy car doesn't seem to match to me atleast. Looks like a kid drew the wing with a ruler to me lol

 

nice car. I like my stock spoiler alot. I like the wingless look also.

ive seen an itr with the wing on it in person(on the exact ITR im getting, just waiting till feb till the owner moves to Japan) and when i saw pics, i wasnt impressed but in person it does look very nice

My thoughts exactly Ross. I am not sure what the hell the big deal is. I love that wing, and ended up buying one for my car. You guys better get use to that wing, because that is all you are going to be seeing come the expo LOL, j/k!

Isn't rear visibility increased? The stock ITR wing is like smack dab in the middle. Bleh!

Yes, the visibility is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better, even with the wing at full-tilt.
