Default Swapped Accord

Please only post if you have swapped an h22 into your accord or bought an accord with an h22 already in it. Naturally aspirated, does it move pretty well? I am def going with the jdm h22 swap with headwork etc but how much better is it stock than the f22b1 or b2?

?????????let me guess... your camaro will run circles around it...

anyway, I asked -bionic- about it the other day and he said that if he were to do it all over again, he would probably just turbo his F23... but that is 6 gen.

(ACCORD C 98) Just wondering why you wished you kept the turbo f23? What made you go the swap instead?

I plan on having either portflow or Daryl from Openloop do an aggressive port and polish, 3 angle valve job and some milling to raise compression to 11:1 hopefully. I have selected the injen short ram intake with an apexi filter, i am having jorge from maxbore do my throttle body to 65mm, a skunk2 intake manifold, a lovefab header and getting rid of my cat by welding in a test pipe myself. I also plan on gutting the interior except for the dash and seats. It will still be my daily driver until i find a 4-500 winter beater but I am building it for the road courses. Hopefully with a good tune I will be in the low 14s.

How about using that money to build it and then boost? Boost is way more fun then all-motor in my opinion

Hi, I'm getting a 97' Accord with the 130 hp engine later today. I was wondering if one of you guys could tell me if I could just get an H22A and mate it to the stock manual tranny that comes with the car. Also, I know I can get a JDM or USDM swap. Are JDM motors street legal? I'm really not familiar with engine swaps too much Thanks in advance guys.

sounds like a big waste of money for low 14s and accords aren't the best car for a road course.
