i've owned a 96 ls for about 2 months now, and recently i started hearing two short electronic beeps about half a second apart as soon as i shut my car off. i'm not having any problems with the car, and i haven't noticed any warning lights coming up on the dash. still, i'm curious as to what the noise might be and would greatly appreciate any insight if someone else has experienced this. the car is stock except for removed resonator, which i did about 5 days before noticing the noise. does this have something to do with the alarm?

 

ok let me add on to that; i'm not sure if it's electronic or the sound of a motor trying to run. i'm starting to suspect it's one of the vent motors going bad... is this a regular occurance?
