newbie here...on exhaust
On my girlfriends accord, she has a magnaflow catback with custom piping (think 2.25"). Only when it rains and there is little to no throttle applied, her exhaust rattles (very hard). I thought that it was hitting the axle, but she's stock height, and LOTS of room. I then thought that it was too stiff from no flex pipe causing weld fatigue. I then found out she still has the flex pipe. Any ideas?
All i did was make sure that the under side of the heat shield of the intermediate pipe & catalytic converter was removed. this tends to be the reason for the rattle.
Also make sure the pipeing is not hitting the exhaust hanggers on the bottom the the car.
