Default Autopower rollbar question...

Does any one know if there is any difference in the roll bars for the 88-91 crx and the 88-91 hatch? TIA

Give Ken a call at I/O Port Racing (1-925-254-RACE). He should be able to help you.

Damn, I just checked online and they have different model numbers, so it's not looking good.

I think you're bumping a dead horse, Travis and Spork provided everything needed to get a definitive answer. Don't want to make a toll call, write an email:

"support@IOPortRacing.com"

Ken @ I/O Port has been selling Autopowers for over a decade. If he doesn't know, he'll call AutoPower for you to find out. He did for me when I was concerned about the door bar design of the 6-point cage for the 2nd Gen CRX's (thinner map pocketed doors vs thicker seatbelt retractors in doors). But then it sounds as if you're probably looking at something used, so you figure out how to word the email...

Want it from the horse's mouth instead: http://www.autopowerindustries.com

I have a 6pt in my ED CRX, I've seen a 6pt. in an ED Civic (albeit ~10 years ago and I didn't have a tape measure), and I know the the Civic has more cabin headroom than a CRX. So more than likely the main hoop will be too tall for a CRX. In addition, since the Civic has a back seat and the rear bars are mounted to the wheel wells, they will also probably be too long.
