Default Crankshaft identification

I searched and found the thread on ITR vs. GSR crankshaft idendification. Now, I have several cranks laying around. Aside from precision measuring the throws, is there a visible way to distinguish a GSR from an LS/B20 crank?

never mind this vvVvv I can't read for ****
Other than the casting #'s, you can simply measure the stroke, the LS crank has an 89mm stroke from centerline of the rod journal to the main journal, and the GSR crank stoke is less at 87.2mm.

the GSR rod journals are more narrow than the ls/b20/b16

i know, but i have nothing to compare it with, just a bare crank, it has a 7 cast on it, where i've seen some ls cranks that are cast 4, is that significant?

I have the exact problem..................I took another engine apart today that someone had built incorrectly and I think the crank is an LS crank. But not sure!

rod bearing journals are smaller on the ls cranks.

actually teh bearing surface is narrower on a gsr crank, gsr rod/bearing is much smaller. but without rods, bearings to look at, how do you tell the difference?

Lets test honda-techs abilities. Lets see who can name the correct engine the cranks are out of. Should be a GSR, B16, LS, Type R, H22 and a RSX-S

My goodness! Its about time, I have been looking for this information for about 3 hours!
Just a side note, why is it so hard for people to be honest, just because you cant see whats in the motor people thinks that they can just rip you off. Honda's have such a bad rap for attracting the wrong kind of people, and that pissed me off because we collectively (honest people) spend a lot of time and money on going fast and its ridicules to see people screw you over.....

out!
