Timing belt tensioner and spring replacement recommended ?
When replacing the timing belt I understand the water pump should be replaced as well ......I've also heard the tensioner and spring ...true ?
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

yes, it is a very good idea to swap the pump and tensioner while you are in there. cheap insurance. personally, i never swapped a spring, as ususally they do not go bad. couldn;t hurt i guess, and the spring i would imagine is not very much.

I just replaced my T.B. and water pump. I would definitely do the water pump, and I wouldn't worry about the tensioner and spring. I didn't do it and it doesn't always seem common to replace it.
