my 92 Accord LX Sedan has a hole in the Inter Mediar Pipe
i have been thinking of patching it up for a few months before i can gather the cash for my hopes of getting a turbo-ready exahaust system

does any one know if the stock pipe can be welded together?

 

yes. you could even just order a length of pipe to replace it from Kteller. Mig at 100amps will do it fine.

 

are you sure i can weld it my self because i went to the garage yesterday and they said i need a brand new pipe- $236

but i think they might be tying to rip me of since there is no way you could benefit from this

It depends on the size of the damage.

Just buy a length of piping long enough to replace the broken part, cut and weld.

236 just for a replacement section is robbery.
