I know exactly what you mean... 1985 Buick Century gas guzzler winter car... sold this past spring. I haven't done anything to my 1.6EL yet, so I'll drive it this year. I'm in Canada, in the middle of the great lakes. We get pounded every year.

Ive only been pulled over 3 times in 2 years.
One time for headbanging at a stoplight...lol i know its retarded.

Once for racing... just got a lecture on how to keep it off the streets. and he told me about the days when he raced..lol

and i got pulled over cause my car felt the need to shoot a 4 foot flame out the exhaust and a cop was right behind me.. Told him the o2 sensor went out and it was runnin really rich. he gave me a warning for it..lol

Yeah winter kinda sucks... but I like it.

I just bought my '91 early october... and now I have to PUT IT AWAY!!!!! Just covered the car yesterday after we got an inch of show up here in Idaho. Tires can't handle any show. New daily driver = '87 Land Cruiser with mud slingers. 10 MPG y0!

winter beater here... a 91 explorer xlt with 210k miles on the clock. 14mpg. ugh. i can't even afford the commute with it. driving 120 miles a day @ $2.20 a gallon empties pockets quickly...
