96-98 ek...sound so soft even on full blast??
when im driving on the freeway, and crank it all the way up, i can barely hear it...anyone know what the problem may be? its not just on the freeway...its really soft when the cars not even on. i dont think the speakers are bad...maybe they are...and my tweeters dont work for some reason...anyway id appreciate any help on this... i wanna hear my ****
first off... im assuming your stock... in which case, they arent that loud if I remember right...
Second... if you are aftermarket.... like me...
You can be VERY loud with the car sitting still with the doors wide open.. standing outside... it seems way to loud to listen to inside... yet.. while inside, its only a little louder than outside... even with doors closed.
The reason for this is the space in the body of these cars, between interior and exterior shell is huge, and cavernous, and open... the sounds seems to get sucked into that void.. and all of the road noise seems to come in the cabin.
This has been my experience from day one. Short of soundproofing/dampening the exterior shell and such.. I dont see it getting better... it just seems to be the way it goes on civics. dont know about accords though.
