Default whats better and quicker? b18c1 stock or b18c1 block with b16 head?

i wanna do a project and i dont wanna go ls/vtec cause its not reliable. wondering if the b18c block is good with the b16 head? anyone know? would i have more hp and torque than a stock gsr? is it worth it? which pistons should i use? and oh y is everyone going ls/vtec, its not really smart. just buy the complete engine. and i got this other question. im onto my 6th integra already. and i never had one like this. it has a freakin performance radiator and the water temp always stays cold. it kinda surprised me. anyone know what im talkin bout?

just swapping a b16 head will make you lose a tad bit of compression. just stick with the gsr head and do a slight rebuild on the bottom end with new bearings, arp rod bolts and jdm itr pistons..

a type r head is the same as the b16a, jsut with a mild pnp. prob run the same numbers with stock pistons and stock b16 cams though, if not slower.

haha, i dunno if i can help, but as previously stated, the B16 head will make you lose a slight bit of comression which in turn will yeild you lower HP and TQ numbers, but if in case you were to decide to run boost the B16 will allow you to run a slight bit more boost than the B18C heads will allow you to run and in the end yeild you a bit more HP and TQ (unless it's a B18C5 head cause you all know the deal with them but it's not the head mentioned)

so it all comes down to the final plan... N/A or Turbo/Supercharged?

also how cold does your car stay while operating... if the car does not reach 160deg. F while operating it can cause as much damage as operating the car while it is hotter than normal running conditions, so i would keep an eye on that...
