Either way, whatever is cheap, strong and easily replaced. You wont save any time by saving 3 lbs per wheel.

 

the wheels will be for my dad's 3000gt that he has heavily modified to around 900whp. he just finished having his car overhauled for the 900hp and wants to race it, he isn't good with comps. so he asked me to ask you guys

i went to wheelspecs.com but they have this many different brands represented , so you could see how i feel overwhelmed...

There is a road racing section on Honda-Tech.....but I agree with RJ. Depends on class. Get wheels that are cheap and strong and that are in supply. I use my Volk TE-37's in 16" and those are in 3 month delay on order. Good luck....
