"two camshafts, one for economy, one for power"

i think he means one for intake and one for exhaust, that or he was referring to the camlobes

i've always wondered, how did he get the job as a test driver? i've seen lots of videos and to be totally honest he never struck me as a good driver (shitty rev matching, skid recovery)... granted, he is quite funny though

Oversees Lotus had the Rover K series engine in it. It did not have a Honda engine from the factory.

Honda "stopped" making the B18C5 for production purposes... actually come to think of it all B series is out of production...

The Elise/Exige/340R all came with the Rover 1.8l 4-banger from the factory. This motor began life in the Elise in 120hp form. In my Exige it is 190hp. The motor can be taken up to about 230hp before you have go FI. Although at anything more than about 220hp - you are asking for trouble.....

that was so cheating.. driving under it with the apache so confined... we all know the aaaRRRr could outrun the missile...

ditka vs. apache vs. type R......

For info on Honda motors into the Elise and Exige go to

http://www.prototyperacing.com

He has a kit to put the K20A into them....these cars are super fast when that motor is pumping out over 300hp to the wheels.
