Best aftermarket clutch? ACT? Clutchmasters?
I was wondering if anyone has used the ACT street disc kit...i heard that its a stiff clutch which is wut i want. Does anyone know of a solid, cheap, stiff clutch???
I've heard nothing but positive things about ProClutch setups. I think my next setup will be a ProClutch 6 puck sprung hub.

remember a stiff clutch, like the act, puts wear on your thrust bearing. i sell clutchmasters because they are easier on the thrust bearings. i have had a stage 4 in my car for 3 years now. never any issues.

if i go with a turbo later on, i'll want to have bought a sufficient clutch...what stage? (d16z6 daily driver <8-10 psi>

i have an ACT stage II in my basically stock LS right now (awaiting boost) and well its pretty nice, but i have have hear some bad things about them. Its nice and stiff. The exedy clutches have a much closer to stock feel.
I have the ACT set p with the street disc. it is too stiff. I was thinkin about goin with clutchmaster also because i always hear posotive things, but, with this act i dont like the way it feels after its broken in, and the flywheel looks like ***. and i've only got 3K on it.
well at first i was a BIG ACT guy because i loved the stiffness but traffic sucked!! it was a SOHC with 6 puck then now with my GSR i went ClutchMasters stage 3 with a Toda flywheel best thing i did!!!!!i love it nice and soft and GRABS great
