i've had these 2 CEL's 67 and 91 for awhile now and i kinda wanna keep my car in top notch shape now cause the CEL's have been there for almost a year. i was wondering how much does the acura dealership charge for inspection of whats wrong??

 

Take it to the dealership if you want to get raped. I didn't bother to look up those CEL's but getting those is half the battle. Look them up, that'll give you a good idea as to what's wrong.

 

its usually $70 for a diagnosis inspection..

but your codes dont' sound framilure.. do you know how to grab CEL's correctly? maybe your not reading the lights right.

 

67 Catalyst System

91 Fuel Tank Pressure Circuit

Anyway... yeah... just call them and ask.

 

i think they charge like an hour or so flat rate for diagnostic. so, for 2 codes, it'll be about $150-200 only to find out whats wrong. whatever they do to fix it would be extra.

How old is your car? 67 usually is a bad cat and 91 could be a bad sensor or vacuum leak, but thats just my guess based upon the code. Take it to a dealership if you want your car in top notch shape because they will do the best work, but it will cost the most.

however, its gonna come back unless you fix what caused it in the first place...

 

67 is usually a bad cat and i beleive 91 means you opened the gas tankw hile the car was running.
