Default o2 sensor wire at ECU?

hello

I'm trying to find out wether I'm running rich or lean while driving my car, is it a good idea to wire a multimetre on the O2 sensor going to the ECU?

What is that wire (color code, plug) at the ecu?

then I could see the variation of voltage...

also, will a A/F gauge work with wideband AND narrowband sensors? or do I need a special one for wideband...?

Thank you

edit: damn im dumb forgot to tell you my ECU héhé its a GS-R 93 ECU, p61 OBD1
