Perma-Dry??
I'm replacing my valve cover gasket and sparkplug tube seals on my 95 ls and i was told that i would need honda bond or a gasket sealent. But on the box for the gaskets is says dont use with any other chemicals. so is that okay or if it was another type of gaskets made from someone else than it would be okay, let me know, thanks!

sounds like it may just be telling you to use the gasket dry (w/out sealant)...its usually recommended to put a small amount in the corners of the gaskets just to kinda hold it in place.......the gasket company is probably just trying to cover themselves cuz if they dont put that on there, people will put tones of sealant on and the gasket will just squeeze/slid out....did you buy a felpro gasket cuz i remember seeing that on some of the gasket boxes at my store!
