Default Newbie to ITB's...Need some help

I was wondering how much of a CR do you need to effectively make the ITB's work? TWM in particular if that helps

The Setup it will be going on:
B18C1 bottom w/ jdm itr pistons
2 layer headgasket
GSR Head w/ JUN 3 cams <-----i dont even know the exact CR of this setup either

I am not sure on your exact setup but you should around 12:1 (guessing). From other peoples experience, and my own, you are at your limit for running 93 octane. If I ever finish my project I will be running an almost identical setup with TWM throttle bodies with high goals of 220whp.

My point is your compression ratio is high enough for the street. I would say go ahead with the trottle bodies.

you might want to think about preventing detonation when running pump gas, instead of using the intake system to determine what c.r. you should be running.
