Bump Steer
hey guys, i'm looking to see if anyone has measured the bump steer on their EG/DC chassis with stock control arms. i want to compare that information with what i've got for my car with the uca's swapped left/right. if you have this kind of information, please include the ride height range you measured and any other pertinent information. thanks!
nate - will measure it himself if he has too, but was hoping someone else may have done it already and is willing to share.

no one?
oh well, i'll measure it this weekend after swapping the arms back and re-aligning the car. if the result is what i think it is, the issue about swapping uca's may become a non-issue.

Nate,
So, you think the negative effects of bump steer would outweigh the benefits of 2-3* of caster gain? My car isn't as low as yours though because of the 13x8.5' Keizers sticking out as far as they do. As a result, bump steer shouldn't be as severe for me if I do this, correct?

I was talking to a local shop about making a bumpsteer graph for my car (1/2" compression increments from full droop), but then I decided it was a waste of money.
For just the max. change, you can just use some tape and a good eye.
