Well, #1457 is off the road again - wrex in effex! 56K NO WAY!
I love my car so much, I try to treat it properly and do nice things for it, but all it does is cost me heartache and $$$$$. I can't seem to keep this car on the road for more than a month at a time without something going wrong or happening to it, it is truly sad. I finally got my motor finished after a year, I got it dynoed (205 whp) I have a MSD Digital 6 sitting on my floor (for some more power) that I was going to install yesterday so that I could have a good time at the Thanksgiving meet up with all the Knuckleheads on this board and then this.......

I am not really sure the extent of what is going to have to be replaced, there is no structural damage because I was not going all that fast, the airbags did not even go off. The taxi that I his has basically no damage at all, just some paint on his bumper. I am going to my body shop tomorrow, the car is driveable, but looks like crap. Depending on the verdict I may just try and sell the car "as is" and be done with it, I really don't know. I don't want to go through insurance if I don't have to.
CRY FOR ME!

As long as you've got full coverage your insurance company should cover the damage no prob. I wouldn't want to spend my hard earned $$$ on fixing something the insurance co. is to able to cover.
well, I know how you feel man. I've had bad luck with my car also......so I just sold it.
Good luck

full coverage = deductable
depends if he has a 500 or 1000 deductable or maybe even more not to mention if you use it your insurance goes up
its a 2 way street both equaling about the same costs
you choose

Thanks for your kind words.
Actually the other day I noticed that the brake pedal was feeling a little soft one instance, but I pumped the pedal and I regained pressure. I checked the MC res and it was full, I was planning to get around to bleeding the system, but couldn't this week due to the holiday and my girlfriend was in here. Anyway in this instance I was coming around a right hand bend off an exit ramp a Laguardia Airport to a STOP sign, so I was not going that fast. As I cleared the bend there was a line of cars at the STOP sign and I hit the pedal and nothing, and before I had the chance to pump the brake or pull the e-brake, I hit the other car in front of me. He was a real nice guy, and said that if it was his car he would not even care, that is how little the damage to his car was. But it was not, it belonged to a Limo company, so now I am waiting to hear fom them.
I am not sure what can be reused, I am going to my body shop tomorrow morning. The hood has a pretty good bend in it and a crack horizontally across the middle, I am hoping it can be fixed and just repainted. My dad thinks that they will be able to fix the bumper, they fixed his fiberglass rear bumper on his Porsche and it looked brand new. The lights I think are pretty much a lost cause, they are pretty scrached up and the housings are cracked. But the fenders, are fine, the core radiator support is a little bent but looks OK and the radiator was not punctured, so we will see.

why not just buy the jdm oem bumper and put it on there? seems like that would cause you to lose the least amount of $$.
