Someone was taken pics of my R
I was driving on the long island expressway today, This modified yellow Mazda tailgated me and when I switch over to the left lane, I saw him took out his camera phone and took pics of my Car.. while going 80 mph. Then I exited, he went straight... and still stares. You think he probably want to steal my R?
But damn I felt like a celebrity. Has anyone experience something like this?

really?
in downtown chicago after pickn up my gf.. right under the train station, I was at a light and while waiting i noticed two kids acrros the street with their parents hiding behind the steel pole. They kept peeping in and out which made them stand out while i was waiting for the light to turn green At first they look like they were playing hide and seek with someone across the street but they were lookn at me the whole time. I didn't say anything, and as soon as the light turn green right when i passed them the two kids took out their cameras and start takn pics while i was slowly passing by while one kid was grabbing his dad and pointing at my car. My gf pinched me and said c...ur car just attracts negative attention
One time on the hwy, blk ep si, saw me coming from behind him and as i passed him started following me and right before i exit he took pics of the car from the side. These things happen. Bad or good i'm not sure.....

i've had people going in the opposite direction and flip a bitch to follow me.
regardless, i didn't like people taking pictures of my car because many times they get thrown on the net with my plates showing. sometimes when i go to meets or whatnot, i take off my plates.

Exactly what i was thinking...
Exactly what i was thinking...
2 guys tried to follow me one night. i took the freeway and they still followed, strange thing is one of them had a camera recorder. i waited til i got near another exit, and just exited last minute. they kept going.
There were 4 R's and a hatch leaving Thunderhill after a track day and a civic full of girls were giving us thumbs ups and then starting videoing taping us. Whatever...
I'm sure most people who see us driving around says the same thing or thinks almsot the same thing, however as far as people steeling your car you should still be very careful because I had 3 people tail me all the way to my house, I drove past and went to the other side of the neighborhood then pulled in my buddys driveway, pictures.... hrmmm as long as they dont get ur plate you should be okay
and on the other hand, enjoy the reations people give to you while your drivin your ARRRRRRR

Yes, but not recently.
When the ITR was at the height of its unbeatable racing stint, it and other similar things used to happen all the time. Sometimes you'd draw a crowd when you were just trying to buy fuel.
A few years ago, "Is that a real Type R?" was an irritating but very common question in fueling stops, at stop lights and parking lots.
