Default Is this a sign of a bad Clutch Master Cylinder???

run through all gears on the highway (cruise speed) and when is time to gear down from fifth to fourth or fifth to third etc, the gears would not go in. it also has this problem at a complete stop, at times no gear would go in. i normally have to press the clutch several times to get in gear. however it does go into all gears from 1st to 5th when I am running down the 1/4. i checked the reservoir and there seems to be no loss of fluid. checked inside the car and there was only a very small trace of clutch fluid. so is it the cmcyl?

if you have a loss of fluid from the reservior than you have a leak some were.you can try to blead the system out and see if you have any air trapped in the system.if you do have air in the lines than you have a leak.if you do have a leak than change the master cylinder and the slave.it does sound like a hydraulics problem.
