my LS has crower 403 cams, springs retainers, PR3 psitons (soon), cai, header, full 2.5" Cat back and a few other goodies. i know put n on a skunk2 manifold on a stock motor with no cams will be over kill on my LS. but with the cams, will i see an increase in power? will i loose hp and TQ down low? BTW, i have stock rev limit. Im think n that i should just rock the stock manifold for now cuz my car wont rev high enought to make use of the manifold. what do u think?

 

keep the stock manifold , until you are runnig a set up that gives you a longer power band, my friend built an all motor LS and with the cams he had in it, .480 int .477 exaust, the dyno showed the power going up to 8700 rpm, then he had a custom manifold on it and gained i think it was like 10 hp and like 7 torque, it wasnt bad the LS stroked made 221 hp and 197 foot pounds. this was a year and a half ago, it wasnt enough power for him so he boosted another LS set up. but i was totally impressed for an n/a LS set up. also beshure to port match your new IM with your head...
