Look what I got.....
GSRgrrl's ITR suspension conversion has arrived!

I have a few questions though...
(Please read: Anyone who doesn't OWN a ITR, or who hasn't done one of these conversions themself, please keep your comments to yourself. I did a search, and all I could find was a bunch of idiots saying "There are NO benifits to doing this conversion...all it is is a extra lugnut...")
Here's what we got: Front knuckle assemblies (Including rotor, caliper, spindle, and ABS sensor.) Rear trailing arm assemblies (Including rotor, caliper, trailing arm, upper control arm, ABS sensor, and parking brake cables.)
We are installing my set of goodridge SS brake lines (ITR spec). And are planning on using the factory GSR master cylinder, and springs/struts for now. Therefore, will we be able to use the GSR front and rear lower control arms instead of the ITR's? Also, down the road a bit, when more $$ comes available, can we switch to a ITR spec coilover setup, just by changing out the LCA's?
Of course, while everythings apart, 4 new rotors and pads are going in along with a poly bushing kit.
Any input/advice is appreciated!

I'm in the process of doing something similar to my hatchback. You should think about using the ITR rear sway bar as well.

The proportioning valve is also important so that the right pressure is sent to the rear calipers.
Wow the mis-information in this thread is impressive.
First off the GSR MC is the *exact* same part as the R one. Don't need to change that.
The GSR and Type R Prop valve are the same, again no need to change.
You will NOT need to change the E brake cables . . Thay are the same. This alone will save you 2+ hours.
The front GSR swaybar AND LCA's are IDENTICAL to the R ones, so there is no reason or benifit to changing them.
Use the Type R upper A arms, instead of the GSRs, as they are a fraction longer and will compensate for a lower ride height (as the R is lower from the factory).
You can swap on the 5 lug and still use the GSR LCA's, then when you get a suspension that needs the R LCA's throw them on then.
I know *I have done this*, heck I was the one that wrote the article on how to do this . . .

Jeff.. I think the upper A-arms are the same for GSR/ITR.
I may be wrong.. or YOU may be wrong.
I'll check the parts catalog tomorrow at work.
Oh, and Punk.. Jeff knows what he's talkin about. Dat **** bolts right on. Especially w/ the goodridge lines.. your girl will love the braking power over the GSR brakes.

Yes Mike do check it out.
I've heard they're different from a few different people (hence my assumption), but I've never verified with part numbers. It'd be good to know 100% for sure . . .
