Default Help with Brakes!

I have a 92 hatch cx with drums in the rear. Lately there has been a loud knocking noise when I drive down the road. It will go away if I lift the e-brake handle so I think that the brake is sticking. Can someone tell me how I can check this. I heard that drum brakes are a bitch so please any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

No idea, but drum brakes really aren't hard to work with.
Just take the wheel off, take the drum cover off (may need a whack with a mallet to loosen) and have a look.

Drums are like a jigsaw puzzle, so if you work on them one side at a time you can use the other side to figure out how everything fits.
