Default Is it pointless to try to sell broken fairings?

I have a few fairings that I don't need off my 04 636. The corners of the pieces are broken off.. i'd say a good 3-4 inches worth. Would it be worth it to try to sell this? I know people buy used fairings but wasn't sure if there was a market for broken ones..

YOu might be able to sell them cheap to someone who just wants something on thier stunt bike, i mean if destroyed enough its basically a shitty paperweight. Did that guy come through for you?

you tell me whats pointless

selling fairings on ebay and making maybe $50 - plus a few minutes of your time to take the photos, post on ebay and then ship out the goods

or

throw away the fairings and not have $50

I've repaired my crashed out track fairings many times. So I guess broken fairings are not useless, but definitely lost a lot of value (obviously)

How do you repair broken fairings? I don't have the broken off piece so I'd need to replace it with another piece of plastic I assume? Heck if it isn't that hard then I might as well fix it and keep it for a spare.

You can use epoxy, ABS weld, or fiberglass bond. My race fairings are made of fiberglass, so I bond them back together using fiberglass resin. I had missing pieces, a huge hole, and a lot of cracks on my fairings. In a couple of spots, I had to reshape the original curve, but it came out okay. Here's how it looks now

Don't let him fool you. The bike is much uglier in person.
