Default Can you fix a ECT sensor plug???Anyone have one?

One of the two wires on my coolant temp sensor are broken right at the plug (that plugs into the sensor). Is there a way to get those plugs apart to repair them? Since this is part of the wiring harness, I really need to find some way to fix it. Also, I've read that you can't solder wires together leading from sensors because it creates resistance which will cause faulty readings. Can anyone address this?

you cant take it apart, plus its pointless to waste your time, when they are like a 20-30 dollar part from the dealer,

Didn't think so. Anyway, I found one to swap out. Thanks for your reply.
