Hi I recently installed a SI exhaust on to my EK hatch.... now intermitently? high pitch whistles or noise comes from the tip? What could it be?

Loose baffle inside muffler?

 

Maybe somebody installed a whistler tip, you know there illegal in california.

could be that...or maybe a couple of small holes on the tips...unless you dont see any...my friends muffler makes chirping noises too...sounds like there's a bird stuck in his exhaust tip

 

hmmm so holes in the tip of the muffler.... that sounds right... cuz i had the tip cut off then he welded the tip back on ??? so maybe a error in welding

 

yes, it's most likely holes in the tip of your exhaust
