i recently purchased a used vafc from a friend for my new eg and had them install it. it works and reads all info correctly but its NOT saving it. ie: i LOSE all settings when i turn the car off. i was curious if there is a specific wire that controls this that could be hooked up incorrectly or not at all / lose . i know when hooking up car stereo's and amps that there is a memory wire that causes this exact same problem if not hooked up.

i would ask the person who installed it but they are out of town and im out of money to take it anywhere else.

ALSO under the etc./initiliaze setting where it asks me to initiliaze YES/NO it wont let me pick yes or no its just staying on NO...maybe a bad unit?
