JDM ef9 bumper w/ usdm lights, fender, hood etc.
has anybody done this? was it easy to install? i tried doing a search on JDM bumper and couldnt find something related to what i was looking for..anybody help?
Your gonna get a ugly gap between the lights and the bumper. So IMO it will look like you could only afford the bumper.
not really..my headlights and hood are already in good condition so i dont need all of that, ive heard of people getting whole front ends with dents, and yellowed head lights, so i dont wanna waste money on that. is there a way to fix the "ugly gap" between the lights and the bumper other than getting hte entire jdm front.

you can have a custom filler piece made, but it will never look like and actual jdm front end since the lights snd hood are different
just get the whole front end conversion and save yourself some time...then it will look different than other USDM ED's...thats what i'm going to do **** all the wasted time trying to fill the space...

Then what's the ******* point?
This is like driving around on just 1 spoon wheel because you can't afford the other 3.
It's going to look retarded. Do it right, or don't do it at all.

There is a guy who roams around here...i think his name is Ba4 or something. He has a RED hatch with the JDM front bumper ONLY (so the rest is USDM). It actually looks OK, but its just not my way of doing things.

U can not use the JDM filler with USDM headlights. The filler is designed to work with the longer headlights. Just use the JDM bumper, bumper lights, and lip.

Pics do a wonderful job of making things that look bad, look real good. I have seen it done before in person, the gap was ugly to me, but I like my **** perfect.

On a hatch it is not noticable at all. They have a seperate filler piece.</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you have a hatch then just get the JDM bumper and it will look perfect with NO gap.
If you are talking about the CRX, then yes you need the whole frontend to make it look good.

maybe the hatch you seen it from had a messed up bumper frame, i dont see why there would be a gap from using jdm bumper with usdm filler, or are you cocked eye? that might be the reason?

Thats the kind of comment that tells me u know nothing about the difference between JDM and USDM front ends. JDM front ends are physically longer than the USDM. Therefore the bumper will protrude past the stock (shorter) filler. Now, stop talking out of your ***.
edit: I think people have a misunderstanding of what happens when u combine the JDM bumper with USDM front. Its not so much a "gap," but if u look from above (standing over the bumper) u will actually see the heads of the screws that hold on JDM support to the bumper itself. If u look in the pic, u can see a hint of it there. But the pic doesnt show this result because of its angle. It looks pretty bad guys, i mean u want the JDM bumper for what, a cleaner look right? But then it doesnt fit right, so wth is the point? OR, is it so u can say u have a JDM bumper?
