wut up fellas...

anyway i rode back home for thanksgiving (450+ miles) and my car developed an odd noise on the way there. It seems like the sway bar is hitting repeatably at low rpms (1.5-3k) when going at slow speeds or when turning slowly. I have the dc race header(2nd batch), but i have also installed a type s sway bar and motor mount inserts to cure the clearance issues. I have feelin that what is causing the problem is broken endlinks....

anybody had issues with their endlinks? when i installed the type s sway i did it while it was on jackstands...possibly the sway's allignment was off causing the endlinks to break? any opinions..what endlinks should i buy...im a college student, so im kinda on a budget

Someone from 7thgencivic.com under the screen name "Grey" sells endlinks for around 65.00. They are much like the Hotchkis endlinks but much cheaper.

 

im havin the same problem.. i thought it would be the sway bar too or the shield where the cat would go.. i have a rsx s and installed it yesterday.. annoying rattles. i was wondering if the header piping diameter when met w/ the b pipe diameter would make an odd noise?

 

actually the <U>new</U> hotchkis endlinks are WAAAY different than the ones grey sells

Do you have a link for them? I want to check those out. I haven't bought upgraded endlinks yet and I'm taking it lightly so my stock ones don't break yet.
