Default jdm front end conversion or a speedbike??which would you choose?

i hope all you guys had a great x-mas. to celebrate my 100th post, i'd like to set some goals for the new year. i'm hoping to have some cash in a few months, and i was pretty close on going jdm for my R...until a friend i know bought a new ninja-firecracker RED. i know its up to me in the end, but it helps to ask the advice of fellow enthusiasts. anyway, if i choose a bike, which is a good one to get?? Hope you guys have a great new year, and thanks for making this site worthwile for my past 99 posts

GSXR 600..mmm.....yummy... with the bike you can actually use what you bought, with the front end you can look at it. Get the bike.

I'd invest it.

If money is no issue to you, get the bike.

You don't have to register/insure a JDM front end (not that it's what I would spend my $ on, but if those are my two choices).

However, if the money's there for registration, title, insurance, and a place to park it, you'll have more fun with the bike, and it's easier to get rid of if you change your mind.

well if someone ever hits you in the front god forbid but lets say what if. you could always pay the little bit difference of $450 the last time i checked to replace the entire front end with hids to. but if your not thinking of a aprilla millie rsv type r then forget the bike and get the front end. but like you said its up to you i myself have always wanted a bike and if i had to chose i would probly get the bike. caus i am going to have my r a long time and will always be able to put the front end on sometime in the future when i get my motor built. but thats just me.

I've got an 01 Honda XR400... I bash it around in the mountains out my way,

Street bikes are fun and all, and i've had everything from a GT 500 ( SUZUKI)

to a GSR 1000 drag bike... But the only thing that actually makes me laugh out

loud in my helmet is a dirt / motocross bike... It's gotta be the biggest bang for

your buck in the go fast department... Pass on the JDM car crap and get a JDM

bike... And you can put a hitch on the ITR to tow a bike trailer.

if it were me - I'd get the front end, I am too afraid to ride, due to the fact I would hurt myself or even kill myself. my buddy has got this bike though
with a custom Black Widow (cf) dual exhaust that rides up underneath the seat and out the back

- I rode it once and thought I was going to die (i think we went 20-160 in about 7seconds)

Note: this is not his actual bike - his is black w/chromed rims

if you're going to go w/ a Ducati, it should be a no brainer to get a monopostal (single seater)...the bitches shouldn't be on that bike to begin w/...

as far as a bike is concerned, what are you looking for in a bike, what cc? what is your size, makes a difference in the type of bike to get...you want all out speed, or some daily driving comfort?

I just sold mine, as I don't ride much anymore....I'll be looking for another soon though, GSXR 750 for me....unless someone wants to buy me a Duc 996
