Just finished my B16 install in my Sol...well, I filled the coolant, ran the motor, and filled the coolant as necessary. Both hoses got hot. Temp gauge never read more than halfway, actually a little less. Well, I let it idle forever, like 30 minutes, revving it occasionally to suck coolant down. The whole time the radiator fan never came on and I couldn't tell for sure if the tstat opened (i would imagine it did due to the lower hose getting hot, but not sure, I'm new to the Honda scene). Is the radiator fan not kicking on normal? I figured it would surely kick on, but 30 minutes later, still no. Thoughts, ideas, opinions? Thanks.

 

well if it wasnt overheating then it wouldnt turn on.
