Default loose timing belt H22A

anyone even had a problem with the timing belt not staying tight on a h22? I used a brand new timing belt and a brand new auto tensioner. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem befor and how you fixed it.

I think the only solution with the auto tensioner is to bleed it or whatever and try it again.

Convert to an h23 manual tensioner like pretty said. If a shop did it then take it back to them.

and i dont have a helm's in front of me bu from what i recall you are supposed to turn the engine over by hand a few times to let the tensioner take up slack before checking belt tension.
