Default Starting problems again

guys, have anybody had problems connecting non-Honda batteries on CRX? I have put a new battery in and it looks like the positive connector doesn't fit the clamp properly. The car barely starts and loses charge at the traffic stops (light dimming and radio off) ...

Pls, help ...

Have you checked to see if your alternator is operating properly?

To me sounds like your Alternator is bad, cars don't care what type battery you put in them.Next time you start it-take the pos. cable off the battery, bet it dies out-bad alt.

this is strange to hear but I hope you are right. Previously, I was told that if it was an alternator problem, I'd not be able to start the car at all not talking of driving it.

I am usually able to start and drive it but then the electrical charge seems to drop or something. ...

BTW I don't hear any noise from alternator (my CRX is usually very quiet). I know that my alternator has not been replaced in a while ...
