Default Experience on selling stuff to Japan....

I would like to sell my USDM Type R front to Japan at Yahoo Japan's auction. Anybody have any experience on sell items to Japan. And also what is the fair price for the front.

I have no idea what's the fair price is, but I would say let charge them what we have to pay for the JDM front. Good way to get even. I am sure they like USDM just as much as we like JDM over here.

Why would somebody over here buy the 4 round headlight setup from the US when the front was mass produced over here from 5/93 until 8/95? Don't waste your time and using Yahoo Auctions Japan isn't easy anymore. You have to either register with their internet banking service or allow them to misuse your credit card.

I own a '93.5 DC2 SiVTEC with the US type front end...

I forgot which site I stumbled across but they actually had a USDM conversion step by step labelled out ...this was on a JDM ITR site.

They might not want the original 4 light housing found on our 94-97 INtegras..but this swap they were talking about doing was with the newer 98+ housings and bumper cover/lip.....

I found it kinda funny .....wasn't it posted here!?

sorry but there's nothing special about a US spec ITR frontend but here's a confused individual who not only bought the US front end but also bought the US tail lights too. Nothing like a Japanese riceboy... This car is an SiR that is converted to an R with CTR wheels and a Top Fuel turbo setup!

uhhh...dude..no...we have them here, just not on ITR's....and they aren't worth
****. even the 'JDM' frontends aren't worth the $3k you pay out there...you'll be VERY lucky to even get $100 if anyone bids at all..

Sorry to sound like an ***..but just stating facts...

Ok... That makes (2) H-T members who live IN Japan warning you not to waste your time. Where's Dave so we can make it three for three? You also have to worry about shipping an over sized item and Japanese riceboys who like to window shop..

Im sure most of you guys know that in Japan they cant believe the JDM hype. and yes as gay as it sounds they actually want the 98+ fronts. The JDM craze was hyped by us. They actually pay huge amounts of money for stuff from AEM to DC sports.
