wat up everyone hope everyone had a tasty thanksgiving but get to the point. when i start my car either in the morning or day and it has been sitting there so it gets cold well when i start it now it starts to do this squeaky *** sound kinda like if it was crying but hopefully someone knows what i mean well before it would never do that keep in mind i have no ac or power steering if that matters. its an 00 ej

youre kinda vague about where the sound is coming from. if its from the engine bay area it could be a worn belt or bad water pump.

 

Sounds like a loose alternator belt. Loosen the 12mm bolt on top of the alternator and tighten it up. Belt should have 1/4" of deflection.

 

sorry for not being specific but yeah it is from the engine bay i dont think it can be the waterpump or timing belt they are new but the loose alternator belt sounds more like it is this easy to fix. thanks for the help.
