Whoa NO GOVERNER! IS THERE SUPPOSED TO BE 1!??
OK here is the scoop, i was driving on the highway when along came a turbo charged VW Jetta GLI, a brand new one!! he reved his engine and it all begun we picked up speed and then i noticed he was left behind all of a sudden, i looked down at my gauge and i was going 142 MPH!!! and my car was still going no doubt in my mind it will go the marked 150!!!!
first, what car do you have? second, i dont believe theres a governer in any generation prelude. third, slow down before you kill yourself or someone

dude, i have no idea.....me and my friend found the speed limiter in his civic coupe at 127...
but also, my friend has 92 prelude si, and he has no rev limiter, and this was with a stock ecu and everything....

ok so everything is very clear, i have not done anything to my car except intake and exhaust, ecu is untouched! its a 2001 sh, umm thats bout it! any body else gone these speeds in their lude or faster jus curious !!
there is no governor in these ludes!
ive surpassed 150 on the speedometer and it was still giong, but i let off.

The only thing that will slow you down will be the red-line in 5th gear. By the way, don't hit the rev-limiter in 5th gear, your car won't be too happy.

The accord 5th gen vtec and preludes dont have goveners. I had my old motor topped out. The h22 i havnt yet bc i am wiser now but i know it can get their in probably half the time it took my f22b1 too.
