Default Half Size Radiator in Integra

Well the crappy seals on my stock radiator in my integra are getting really bad, the radiator doesnt hold pressure well at all. I am planning on putting a turbo in the car in spring, so i am thinking about putting a half sized radiator in my car. Heres my delima. Should i use a new stock del sol vtec, an aftermarket civic radiator, the radiator barn aluminum civic vtec radiator, or a radiator i found on ebay that has the mounts to make it fit custom welded on so it should be a direct fit. The stock del sol is the cheapest and the hoses will fit. Im not sure about the hose fitiment on an aftermarket civic radiator and its roughly $350. Radiator Barn sells a radiator that should fit and the hoses will fit. Its an aluminum one also but they do not give the brand. Its about $280. Heres the one I found on ebay.

Any input on this is greatly appreciated, as i have to put a new radiator in VERY soon. If anyone has used any of those combinators, give your opinion. A how to make the bracket would also be great, if someone has one.

You can get a civic 1/2 stack aftermarket radiator for less than 300 shipped.

That's exactly what i did for my turbo teg. You WILL have to change the radiator mount. but it's no big deal really. Just get a dremel tool with the metal cutting attachment and cut away the mount. Then figure out where it will be on the new radiator and get like 4 self-tapping screws. Screw away and your good to go! If you have any questions I can help you. just PM me

I am resurrecting this thread because it applied to me, too. due to some damage from a big rock, I cannot replace my radiator with one of stock size. I see mention of the half size radiators from civics, but no one mentions what they did to fit it. I have a DA with AC, but the belt isn't even on and I never really used it [makes my car too slow!]. isn't the fan on the driver's side just for when the AC kicks in?

and you guys are using a stock Del Sol radiator with a boosted b18? if so, then I don't think I'll need to worry about cooling problems. what about the fan, though? will I be able to use my stock fan? or should I get a Flex-a-Lite or similar?

I am in a real bind here and need help FAST! you can check out the "rock-1 integra-0" thread for more info on my crappy weekend! thanks!

pics would be good, tho I cannot afford anything but a stock replacement radiator, be it for integra or civic.

did you have to use a different fan? if so, did the fan harness have to swap? thanks.
