I am almost certain that 4 door ITR rears will fit into a 4 door civic. I have 4 door ITR seats in my 96 coupe and I had to cut the quarter panels for the backrest to fit in. The 4 door civics rear seat is wider therefore I believe that there would be no modifications needed to fit DB8 rear seats in to a 4 door civic.

lol... I'm aware of that.

You learn something new here everyday on H-T.

There was no four door R here in the states was there? Are these the older (~96) models only?

id like to know also. ive talked to the guys at passwordjdm.com and they "said" 4-dr ITR rear seats will fit in a civic coupe, or you could get the 2-dr rear seats and swap the fabrics and it would fit that way also but be a little loose but you would have the stock civic seat direct fit back in.....hmmm.....
any pics 96 ex?<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 96ex &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I am almost certain that 4 door ITR rears will fit into a 4 door civic. FdOoUoRr - if you want to measure the width of your backrest I'll measure mine for you and see how they compare. I know that the *** pad part of the seat will fit in a 4 door and a coupe fine. Also you want to be 100% sure they will fit w/o modifications take a look and see how many latches are on the back of your 4 door civic seat. The DB8 rears have 3 which is more than the civics coupes. Also they faced in the opposite directions so they did not latch in the correct way.

hybridej7....let me see if my post on clubsi with pictures is still up...if not i'll see if they are on we-todd still.

If you decide to go through with it and put them in a coupe, hit me up with a pm and I'll give you more info. Someone really needs to pick up those sets of DB8 rears on password jdm. I paid $500 to get mine imported so $380 or whatever is a great price.

the part where you lean your back against is not gonna lock up. think about it...the civic is a 60/40 split. the integra isnt. its one whole piece.

edit: i might be wrong. isn't the EK sedans 1 piece also?
