annoying sound from hatch...

my hatch is making a really annoying creaking sound and im sure you all know what im talking about but i jus need to know a good and effective way to get it to stop.

WRAP ELECTRIC TAPE AROUND THE LATCH THAT LOCKS.. USE JUST ENOUGH SO IT IS TIGHT, BUT NOT TO MUCH SO THAT IT WON'T CLOSE.. WORKS PERFECT!!!! no more hatch rattle
