well my crx is rustless. well i thought it was. i can see some forming of rust on one of my 1/4 panels on the 'lip' on the inner side.

now can i do something to it before it gets bad? any products? sanding? etc? thanks!

 

sand it out to bare metal , use rust inhibitor... and then clean it out again... and use primer.. and some under coating in there...

here a good tip start to pressure wash your car especially under the fenders and rear 1/4 at least once every 2 weeks.. or when ever you wash your car the more frequent you are the better.... HTH

 

You should have taken off that rubber lining that goes around the lip of the 1/4 panel..
And clean the dirt/rocks out of the pockets in the 1/4 panel..because if you dont the water will just sit there and rusts the metal away..

that doesn't do any good when its been there for 15+ years, the rust was already well on its way..

btw I just found a spot on my lude today.. ****** bullshit.
